Week 11 Preview
What the fuck? I've been in a coma for 5 weeks. Who is the president? Which bye is OSU getting in the college playoff? How many rounds of golf did I miss with the boys?
One thing I know I missed and not one person mentioned is the Mid-Season Tournament I mentioned in the season preview. Let's take a look at how that would have played out as well as updated Power Rankings.
Mid-Season Tournament
I don't know if anyone remembers what this was, but I was testing doing a mid-season tourney for some sort of prize depending on how this season went. The thought was the person that wins it could get the 6th seed if they missed the playoffs, or their name on the website, or a 6 pack of beer, etc.
Clint who is almost statistically eliminated from the playoffs could have gotten in with one more win. Cord, who had a rough start to the season, almost qualified for that 6th seed as well.
Austin, who we've all said was the luckiest team in the league so far, ended up winning the tourney. Congrats on your fake Thumper Bowl victory!
Power Rankings
Dom continues to dominate the rankings as he was last time we did these.
Clint continues to show he's the unluckiest team in the league. In fact let's look at the luckiest and least lucky teams in the league:

Basically Austin is as lucky as Clint is unlucky this season. This passes the eye test.
Week 11 Games of the Week
Cord (5-5) vs Chris (6-4)
These are two of the hottest teams in Thumper. After starting 0-4, Cord has won 5 of his last 6 games. Chris has now won 4 straight.
Every game this week can flip the playoffs in some way. The outcome of this game affects both teams in the long run.
A Cord win should put him in the playoffs over Chris, while Chris could fall from 5th all the way down to 8th place.
A Chris win could firmly put him in the playoffs with 3 more weeks to go. He would most likely have a 2 game lead on most of the teams vying for the last few spots. If Logan loses he could also be looking at the first round bye.
Neither team has set their lineups for the week, but ESPN currently has Cord projected to win even with his QB and RB2 on a bye week. I have to agree with them. Chris only has one real RB to start this week. He's going to have to hope for another 50 point game from JaMarr Chase this week to survive this one. Sorry Chris
