2025 Week 9 Recap

I didn't even know you all read these things. I'm just going to combine the last two weeks of recap since this one is so late. Let's just start with congratulating Watonga on a dominant Eagle Cup win.

Bryan is the MVP of the Eagle Cup with 5 points. Surprisingly everyone form Watonga contributed points.

Kevin scored the most points in the entire tournament with 5.5, but we don't give MVP Awards to loser teams. Chris was the only player to not contribute to his team, closely followed by Logan with .5 points and Lyndon with 1 point.

Next year we'll figure out something for the winning team.

Week 9 Bets:

Austin vs Kevin - Winner gets a video where the loser says "(insert winner's name) knows more about Star Wars than me" or something like that. - Winner: Kevin

Week 9 FAAB Recap:

I almost forgot about the Tyrone Tracy sweepstakes since he's been such a bum the last two weeks. Austin spent $146 on Tracy who has combined for 12.8 points over two weeks. Yikes.
Logan spent $60 on Jordan Love who got him a whopping 16 points last week. He's hoping for a big week from him this week. Did I mention no one else spent a dollar on Love?
Rusty spent $57 on Bam Knight. There were also no other bids on Knight. He has combined for 9.5 points through two weeks.

Week 9 Bad Moves:

I mean... see above?

Also, Austin could have started Wandale over Metcalf and won, but no one would have made that move.

Week 10 Power Rankings:

A small bit of movement in the 2nd to 6th place range, but Dom stays on top.

I also got out of the bottom tier even though it looks like Austin is about to beat me and send me back to the loser's realm.

Week 10 Game of the Week:

Rusty vs Dom

Watonga is so close overall, I could say this is the battle of 1 vs 2 in the division. If playoffs started today, Dom would be the 1 seed and Rusty would sneak in with the 6th seed.

We got two of the best WR cores in Thumper facing each other this week. Unfortunately they are both missing strong WRs with Chase on bye and Pearsall apparently dead.

We have two of the top fantasy QBs facing off this in this one. Drake Maye is getting MVP chants he's playing so well. Stafford looks like he's 30 years old again.

Let's be real, this matchup is almost over already. Dom needs to make up 30 points with his Josh Jacobs, Kimani Vidal, Romeo Doubs, and Boswell vs Rusty's Keenan Allen and Dallas Goedert. I truly think he has a shot.

Keenan Allen has not been great lately. Goedert has somehow been having a few great weeks lately. Those two could easily combine for 10 points this week, meaning Dom just needs 40.

Jacobs is a top 3 RB in fantasy right now. He could easily put up 30 himself tomorrow night. That combines with Boswell putting up double digits lately, plus Vidal and Doubs truly being wildcards, makes me feel like Dom has a great shot.

Problem is I really need Rusty to lose more so...
