Time flies when you're in the fantasy football season. Seems like I just wrote this article. Let's see what's happened this week.
Week 10 Bets:
None
Week 10 FAAB Recap:
Nothing crazy this week. Clint spent $20 on Devin Singletary, the RB1 in New York. Too bad all the RBs suck. Worth the $20 though.
Brady got Alex Pierce for $0. May be the WR steal of the year.
Week 10 Bad Moves:
Logan started Love over Baker and lost. Baker outscored Love by 26 points while Logan lost by 17. That's really the only bad move I'm seeing.
Week 11 Power Rankings:
No changes in the top 4 teams this week, but we have been split into the haves and have-nots at this point. The top half of the league is slowly trying to pull away from the bottom half.
Everyone in Watonga is still eligible to win the division, while Kevin and Bruce are slowly pulling away from the Weatherford division. Chris still has a shot, but it would take a miracle.
With four weeks to go, everyone is still playoff eligible.
Week 11 Game of the Week:
Bryan vs Austin
Watonga gets game of the week again this week, because it continues to have bigger matchups than Weatherford. Austin is currently tied for 1st place in the division, while Bryan is one game back.
Bryan seems kind of checked out on fantasy but is somehow beating half the league. He did make a trade this year with Austin. Instead of writing about the two teams, let's just look at that trade and how it will affect their matchup:
Austin received Jared Goff, Javonte Williams, and Wan'Dale Robinson.
Bryan received James Cook and Jameson Williams
Jared Goff - Currently QB7. I'm not going to look at all the players that have been added and dropped since Week 7, but I do see Austin started Jaxson Dart Week 5. Since this trade was made, Dart has outscored Goff every week but this last week when he left for his fourth concussion.
Javonte Williams - Somehow the RB8 on the season even though he has had his BYE and only put up 6.8 points last time out.
Wan'Dale Robinson - WR20 on the season surprisingly, but he hasn't been great since this trade went through. Hoe does a guy get 9 receptions and end up with 6.3 points in PPR?
James Cook - He is your RB7 on the season. He's also had his BYE and had a bad outing this week. Shades of Javonte.
Jameson Williams - This guy has been on 4 teams this season. He finally put together two good games in a row. Can he do it three games in a row?
Who won that trade and does it determine this game? I don't think anyone won that trade and I don't think it really determines the outcome of this game. Once Austin puts a kicker in his lineup, ESPN should have this one almost dead even. I think I like Bryan's team better this week.
