I forget how much losing in Thumper affects my mood Sunday and Monday after being on a win streak. This game is stupid. But at least AI made Kevin's lightsaber flacid. I thought that was funny.
Here's an update on the Eagle Cup. Watonga has reached 18 points, meaning Weatherford has to win all 6 matches and get the top 6 scores this week in order to force a draw. Anything is possible I guess.
Week 8 Bets:
None. Once again, Weatherford doesn't gamble.
Week 8 FAAB Recap:
Austin bid $42 on Aaron Rodgers. There were no other bids. That's a lot of FAAB to spend on a bye week fill in. Austin could have beaten Chris with free QBs like Tua, half a Carson Wentz, and even backups like Zach Wilson and Mitchell Trubisky.
Week 8 Bad Moves:
For some reason Rusty started Goedert over Kraft and cost himself his game.

Week 9 Power Rankings:
The top five stays the same. Bryan cracks into the top 6.
Something that I don't include on here is the luck score. According to the rankings, Clint and Chris are both extremely lucky while Aron and Logan are extremely unlucky. Everyone else has average luck.
Week 9 Game of the Week:
Kevin vs Austin
Two teams sitting at 5-3. Two teams on 3 game win streaks. Two guys that think they know Star Wars better than the other, but somehow don't understand that Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie. This game is also expected to be the highest scoring game of the week with both teams projected to score close to 130 points.
Kevin has been the best team in the league over the last month and this week he has no one on bye. Austin will be missing Egbuka, but that's not a big loss with how bad he's been the last three weeks. This means we basically get a full on battle of behemoths.
Until someone figures out how to stop the Colts, Kevin's team will continue to put up 70 points a week with just three players. On top of that, Kevin has Swift who somehow learned how to run the ball this year, St Brown who may be the best WR in the league, and Chase Brown who somehow became a thing after Flacco got traded to the Bengals. It makes no sense. St Brown and Taylor are the only two players that should be this good.
Austin's team is no slouch. Bijan, Javonte, and McBride have been awesome weekly (except for last week when Bijan got shut down by the Dolphins incredible defense). Tet and DK have been inconsistent but can put up big games any day.
I can't pick against Kevin here. His team is going to continue to dominate until the NFL figures out the Colts.
