Commissioner's Rankings 2026
First six down. Top six to go. Who is going to win the Thumper Bowl? Here are my predictions.
6. Bryan
Bryan may have gotten the top QB and WR. Actually he may have gotten the top 2 QBs. Bad thing is he can only start one QB... He spent a massive amount of draft capital on bench spots. If he had used those picks on RBs instead, I'd probably have him a lot higher. I mean it's kind of crazy I have him this high with his current RBs.
Henderson is sounding like the second RB in New England behind Rhamondre. Corum is the second RB in LA. And if camp reports are correct, Harvey may be supplanted by rookie Jonah Coleman.
Tank Dell is going on IR to start the season and while Rice has shown signs of being a WR1, I just don't see it happening again. I've been wrong before though.
Somehow Bryan will find a coupe of RB lottery tickets that will work out for him.
Why #6: Best QB and WR, but the rest of the team has big question marks.
5. Austin
Daniels, Taylor, Brown, Wilson, Warren is a very nice lineup. I like the core of this team more than the overall depth.
Jeremiah Love has been injured all offseason and the coach isn't really being upfront about if he'll be healthy to start the season. Monangai should get at least 35% of the backfield work again, but that's all of Austin's RB depth.
He also took a ton of WRs with questions surrounding them. Will Cam Ward get Tate the ball? Can Golden be a thing in his second year? Coker has a lot of hype, but like Tate he needs his QB to step up. No one is talking about Jeudy at all and it's probably because every QB in Cleveland is garbage.
Austin is a big waiver wire guy though, so he should be able to fill some holes.
Why #5: Strong core but major questionmarks in lineup.
4. Aron
The websites don't like this team and I don't really understand it. Bijan and Montgomery. Olave and Adams. Mcbride at TE. That's a really strong starting lineup already.
Jordan Love immediately got an upgrade with the Jacobs news. The Packers will assumingly be throwing the ball more often now.
If Kamara, Charbonette, and McMillan can come back healthy at some point, this team has depth too.
Why #4: Strong starters at RB, WR, and TE. Multiple bench players that could make a difference later in the season.
3. Dominique
Hell of an RB room here: Barkley, Brown, Etienne, Price, and Tuten. All are setup to be top 20 RBs this year. That group alone can carry Dom to the playoffs.
The WR room has some questions, but a lot of hype behind it. I don't see any reason why Smith wouldn't finish as a top 15 WR this year. AJ Brown leaving opens up a ton of targets. Parker Washington is being hyped up like the WR1 in Jacksonville. The stack of Washington and Lawrence could be big.
DJ Moore and Wandale are on new teams this year. Moore should be a stud in Buffalo, but WRs in new homes are always dart throws.
Speaking of Darts, Jaxson Dart could be the steal of the draft if he can stay healthy. Like Skat through, I don't trust this moron to stay healthy for a full season.
Why #3: The RBs and WRs are awesome, just not as awesome as the next two teams.
2. Brady
Did you really think I would rank myself first? I almost drafted perfectly.
The RB room is ridiculous. CMC + Hampton + Walker gives me three guys who can realistically be weekly RB1/RB2 caliber players. Then I have Waddle + MHJ + Ladd at WR. If Waddle stays healthy or the other two guys take that next step, they could all realistically finish as top 20 WRs or even better.
Kraft just fell to me as a top 5 TE too. Purdy may be the biggest question, but the dude was awesome when he was healthy the last two years.
Why #2: Because I wasn't giving myself #1.
1. Logan
I see a lot of the same between my team and Logan's team. We both started RB, RB, RB followed by WR, WR, WR. He didn't need to go after another RB but still got Lloyd this morning on waivers. That's a stacked RB room.
I planned on taking Higgins if he fell to me in the fourth. Instead Logan grabbed him a few picks before me. He followed that up with Odunze and Williams who were also on my short list to draft. The Bears and Lions are two offenses I want pieces from.
Not only did he get everyone's favorite late round QB, Dak, but he got everyone's second favorite Stafford. If Laporta doesn't miss much time, this is the most well rounded starting lineup.
Why #1: Awesome starting lineup and depth. Almost perfect team all around.
