2026 Week 3 Recap and Game of the Week
Four Teams: 2-0
Four Teams: 1-1
Four Teams: 0-2
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. The league is already starting to take shape just two weeks into the season.
Logan, Rusty, myself, and Bruce remain the loan undefeated teams just two weeks in and other than Aron, they have a bit of a cushion in points forced as well. On the other end, Clint and Chris have yet to reach 200 points on the season.
Like week 1, the story of week 2 was also injuries. Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Jaxson Dart, Saquon Barkley, JK Dobbins, Mike Evans, Malik Nabers, DJ Moore, and Dallas Goedert were all in lineups this week prior to going down to injury. The league cousins had multiple players from that list miss time this week during their matchups.
Looks like some teams had some work to do on the Waivers this week.
The Waiver Report:
Deebo Samuel - I spent $23 on him and he only put up 5 points this week. Hoping we get more out of Deebo this week.
Carson Wentz - Clint spent $10 on Wentz after his big week 1. He did not get much in return and already dropped him.
Reminder we don't start Power Rankings until Week 4. I don't want to be embarrased like the AP Poll and think Oregon, OU, and Texas A&M are top 10 teams.
Week 3 Game of the Week
Brady (2-0) vs Rusty (2-0) - Rusty leads the series 13-11
For the second week in a row we only have one undefeated vs undefeated matchup. This time we are back in the Watonga division.
Through two weeks, both teams have been lucky to not be bit by the injury bug we mentioned earlier. Rusty currently holds the 1 seed in Watonga with 253.28 points while Brady is less than 4 points away at 249.38.
Rusty has had big performances from Jalen Hurts and Dalton Kincaid both weeks. He needs consistency from Jeanty, Javonte, and Chase, all of which have had big games at least once in the last two weeks. The key to his victory is starting the correct flex play. He looks like he's found a great flex play in Christian Watson week in and week out.
Brady may have found the steal of the draft in Brock Purdy who currently sits at QB3. He's being carried by consistent performances from CMC and Kenneth Walker, while Waddle and McConkey have taken turns having pretty good games in different weeks as well. He needs everyone to put a good game together this week to have a shot versus Rusty this week.
ESPN has Brady favored to win by 6.3 points this week. I'm not falling for that. Congrats Rusty on 3-0!
Commissioner's Pick: Rusty (2-0)
